This Knoedelfresser, or potato eater, is in a case designed to appeal more toward the English market and was retailed there by Cramer and Cuss, earlier known as "Kamerer & Kuss." The more Anglo-Saxon spelling probably came about just prior to WWI. The eyes, mouth and right arm move, serving him three dumplings every fifteen minutes.

The Magician performs twice hourly, or on command, rasing the bells to show a clear table, then again to reveal mysteriors objects and finally reveals that they have vanished.
