| Collectors all
over the world seeking the most unique, favor these examples with
complex animation, such as "The Magician" and the "Potato
Eater." |
|
|
| This Knoedelfresser,
or potato eater, is in a case designed to appeal more toward the English
market and was retailed there by Cramer and Cuss, earlier known as
"Kamerer & Kuss." The more Anglo-Saxon spelling probably
came about just prior to WWI. The eyes, mouth and right arm move,
serving him three dumplings every fifteen minutes. |
|
The Magician
performs twice hourly, or on command, rasing the bells to
show a clear table, then again to reveal mysteriors objects
and finally reveals that they have vanished.
