Baranger Studios created animated store window displays for jewlery stores. During a twenty-year period beginning in 1937 with a design for Bulova watches, Baranger created over 167 different animated displays for jewlery store windows in lots of 30. The animation varied, but always featured a jewlery theme.

The "motions" as they were called, were offered nationwide to retail establishments on a rental basis. The retailer received a different animated window display each month much in the same manner as regularly changing billboards.

The few "motions" still in exsistence are highly sought after by collectors specializing in advertising media.

The Baranger Studio was located in South Pasadena, California.
